Dhaka, July 3 -- A Cumilla court has granted a three-day remand to police to question four people arrested in a case under the Pornography Control Act linked to the alleged rape of a Hindu woman and the circulation of a video of the incident in Muradnagar Upazila.

Judge Mominul Haque of Cumilla's Amli Court approved the remand order on Thursday, said Court Officer-in-Charge Sadequr Rahman.

Earlier on Tuesday, Muradnagar Police Station Sub-Inspector Ruhul Amin, the investigating officer in the case, had sought a seven-day remand for the four accused.

The suspects - Shumon, Ramzan, Md Arif, and Md Anik - are all residents of Baherchar Panchkitta village in Muradnagar.
