Dhaka, Jan. 31 -- Bangladesh began their SAFF U-19 Women's Championship campaign in commanding fashion, routing Bhutan 12-0 with three players bagging hat-tricks in Pokhara.

Munki Akter led the scoring, supported by Trishna Rani and Alpi Akter, while Mamoni Chakma and Arpita Biswas also found the net.

The match began at a relentless pace, with Bangladesh dominating Bhutan's half from the first whistle. Early attacks lacked cutting edge, but the home side grew increasingly desperate for goals.
