Dhaka, Feb. 5 -- BRAC Bank has appointed Monzula Morshed as its deputy managing director and chief human resources officer.

The appointment is effective from Feb 1.

She will also serve as a member of the bank's management committee, according to a media statement.

Monzula brings more than 25 years of experience in people and organisational leadership across the telecommunications, manufacturing, banking and FMCG sectors.

Welcoming the appointment, BRAC Bank Managing Director and CEO Tareq Refat Ullah Khan said bringing in a seasoned HR professional reflects the bank's strategic ambition to transform itself into a trusted, innovative and inclusive financial institution.
