Dhaka, Dec. 23 -- Miscreants have cut off the wrists of a man in Khulna's Batiaghata, police say.
The incident occurred on Tuesday morning at Darogar Bhita Ali Nagar, Batiaghata Police chief Khandakar Hafizur Rahman said.
The miscreants went to the victim's house and called him out before severing his wrists, according to police.
The victim, identified as 40-year-old Akter Hossain, who works at a local hotel, is undergoing treatment at Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH).
