Dhaka, Nov. 15 -- The BNP will prioritise ending what it calls India's "dominance" if the party comes to power, its Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said.
He made the comments on Saturday after visiting a newly built rubber dam built over the Mahananda River in Chapainawabganj.
"If people vote the BNP to power, [it] will prioritise ending India's 'dada-giri'," he told reporters on Saturday after visiting the rubber dam built on the Mahananda River in Chapainawabganj.
"Emphasis will also be given on dealing with matters such as the Farakka Barrage and border killings," he said.
Speaking further about India, Fakhrul said: "India is our neighboring country. If they want, they can maintain good relations with us."
