Dhaka, March 11 -- Authorities have fixed the minimum rate of Fitra, a charitable donation by well-off Muslims at the end of Ramadan, at Tk 110 per person in 2025. The maximum amount has been fixed at Tk 2,805 per person.

Islamic Foundation's Assistant Public Relations Officer Shayla Sharmin told bdnews24.com, "The Sadakatul Fitr rate has been fixed at a minimum Tk 110 and maximum Tk 2,805 per person for the year 1446 Hijri."

The rates are lower than what they were last year when it was minimum Tk 115 and maximum Tk 2,970.

This Fitra rate is lower than the one fixed for last year which stood at a minimum of Tk 115 and a maximum at Tk 2,970.
