Dhaka, Dec. 11 -- The interim government will provide Tk 2 million each to the families of those killed and Tk 500,000 each to those injured in the fighter jet crash at Milestone School and College in Uttara.

Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus approved the compensation allocation during a meeting of the Advisory Council on Thursday, said his Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam.

The government will also provide free treatment at government hospitals for those who sustained more severe injuries in the devastating accident, and each injured person will be issued a health card.
