Dhaka, Dec. 1 -- Authorities have searched the entire metro rail track overnight after two individuals climbed onto the roof of a metro train, says Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) Managing Director Md Faruque Ahmed.

Speaking to the media on Monday, he said: "There was an incident last night and we had to halt train movement. Public safety comes first. We will maintain it."

"Last night we saw one child. Two others almost climbed up. We saw in the video the boy climbed up from a place in Karwan Bazar. From there he came to Agargaon and changed trains there.
