Dhaka, Nov. 23 -- Bangladesh's Tangia Zaman Methila has earned a place in the top 30 of the Miss Universe contest, delivering a proud achievement even though the coveted crown remained out of reach.

Methila had stood out earlier in the People's Choice category, rising at times to the top position during the voting race.

The final results of the 74th Miss Universe were announced in Bangkok on Friday.

Mexico's Fatima Bosch secured the title, surpassing 120 competitors from around the world.

Methila drew global attention through her wardrobe, styling, and jewellery choices throughout the event.
