Dhaka, Dec. 14 -- The results of the admission test for the MBBS and BDS courses for the 2025-26 Academic Year have been published, with 5,645 candidates provisionally selected for admission to government medical colleges, dental colleges and their affiliated units.

The results were released on Sunday afternoon.

In a media statement issued later in the day, the health ministry said candidates were selected based on merit and stated preferences, using a combined score.

The score was calculated by adding the marks obtained in the admission test to points derived from the candidates' GPAs in the SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examinations, it added.
