Dhaka, Dec. 23 -- Jatiya Party-JP Chairman Anwar Hossain Manju has taken a sharp swipe at the government and the Election Commission, saying he has "learnt many new lessons" from their recent conduct.
Expressing anger at not being invited to the Election Commission's dialogue, the former minister asked why the commission was calling everyone except his party.
"Are we not allowed to move on the streets?" he said on Tuesday.
Manju was speaking after the National Democratic Front (NDF), an alliance of 20 political parties led by his JP faction and another faction of the Jatiya Party headed by Anisul Islam Mahmud, announced candidates in 119 constituencies on Tuesday.
