Dhaka, Dec. 10 -- Police in Sylhet's Beanibazar have recovered the body of a young man suspected to have been killed over a phone-snatching incident.

The body, with the victim's hands, feet and mouth tightly bound, was found around 7am on Wednesday at a fish market in Kona Shaleshwar village of Sheola Union, said Beanibazar Police chief Md Omar Faruk.

The victim, 22-year-old Imon Ahmad, was the son of Mutolib Mia from Khoshir Namnagar village. His remains were sent to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital for postmortem.

Police also detained 23-year-old Ashraful, son of Abdul Karim Monair from Imon's native village, on suspicion of involvement.
