Dhaka, May 23 -- July Oikya in Chattogram has alleged that major political parties in Bangladesh are preventing Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus from "properly running the state".

The group organised a protest rally and gathering under the banner "Against the Conspiracy to Destroy July Unity, Against Indian Hegemony" on Friday.

Following Friday prayers, the demonstration began in the courtyard of Andarkilla Shahi Jame Mosque and moved through the Cheragi Pahar intersection before concluding outside the Chattogram Press Club, where a brief rally was held.
