Dhaka, Dec. 4 -- BNP chief Khaleda Zia will be transferred from Dhaka's Evercare Hospital to a hospital in London for advanced treatment.

She will be taken to the UK on board a special air ambulance provided by the emir of Qatar around midnight on Thursday or in the wee hours of Friday, according to Prof AZM Zahid Hossain, Khaleda's personal physician.

The medical team overseeing her care, which includes doctors from Evercare, the US, and UK, have unanimously decided to transfer her abroad, he said.
