Dhaka, Nov. 30 -- The health of BNP chief Khaleda Zia remains "unchanged" as she continues receiving treatment in Dhaka's Evercare Hospital, according to senior leader Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.

Speaking at a media briefing at the BNP's central office on Sunday, the party's senior joint secretary general said doctors were providing round-the-clock care but had reported neither deterioration nor significant improvement.

"From what I've heard directly from the doctors, her condition hasn't worsened. But we also have not received news of any significant improvement either. That means her condition is unchanged."

Rizvi said the party was hopeful of a recovery, adding: "We believe she will get better soon. this is the expectation of millions."
