Dhaka, Feb. 12 -- Five people, including former state minister for industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder and former EXIM Bank chairman and NASSA Group chief Nazrul Islam Mazumder, have been shown arrested in new cases.

The other accused are - Diamond World Managing Director Dilip Kumar Agarwala, former Jatrabari Police Station chief Mohammad Abul Hasan and an individual named Main Uddin Mia, whose identity has yet to be confirmed.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate MA Azharul Islam passed the order after a hearing on Wednesday, Public Prosecutor Omar Faruq Faruqi said.

On the day, the investigating officers of the cases presented them in court and sought their arrest in different lawsuits.
