Bangladesh, Sept. 2 -- Police have submitted chargesheets for eight more cases filed across Bangladesh in connection with murders and other offences committed during last year's anti-government protests, bringing the total number of indictments to 34.
These include 13 murder cases and 21 cases involving other criminal charges, the Police Headquarters said in a statement on Tuesday.
A total of 1,730 cases were filed across the country for murder and other offences related to the July Uprising, it added.
Police had previously said that 26 chargesheets had been submitted by Aug 21.
