Dhaka, Feb. 5 -- The verdict in a crimes against humanity case over the shooting of six people and the burning of their bodies in Savar's Ashulia during the July Uprising will be delivered on Thursday.
A three-member bench of International Crimes Tribunal-2, led by Justice Nazrul Islam Chowdhury, will announce the judgment.
The other two members of the tribunal are Justice Md Manjurul Bashid and Justice Nur Mohammad Shahriar Kabir.
The fate of 16 suspects, including former lawmaker Saiful Islam, will be decided in the verdict.
Eight of the suspects are currently in custody. They are former additional superintendent of police (Crime and Ops) of Dhaka district Md Abdullahil Kafi, former additional superintendent of police (Savar Circle)...
