Dhaka, Dec. 16 -- Police have sought a week to question gangster Subrata Bain's daughter in their custody in the murder case of Jubo Dal leader Arif Sikder.

The court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Hasibuzzaman has fixed Thursday to hear the remand petition filed on Tuesday by Mazharul Islam, an inspector at the Detective Branch.

Arif Reza, a sub-inspector of the prosecution police, confirmed the matter.

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Khadiza Yasmin Bithi, the daughter of Subrata aka Md Fateh Ali, on Monday at the main entrance to the Cumilla Central Jail.
