Dhaka, March 28 -- Law-enforcing agencies have arrested another 280 people with suspected links to criminal activities in a bid to keep a leash on crimes amid the degrading state of law and order.
In a statement on Friday, the ISPR said the army had been working toward ensuring smooth Eid travels and prevention of ticket bootlegging with heightened vigilance.
From Mar 20-26, units of different infantry divisions and independent brigades of the Bangladesh Army, alongside other law-enforcing agencies, carried out joint operations in the capital and other locations of the country, the ISPR said.
