Dhaka, Nov. 27 -- Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), its Department of Global Studies and Governance (GSG) and its student club Global Gatekeepers have held a three-day flagship event to observe Global Day 2025.

Activities began with a three-day IUB Global Intra Model United Nations that started on Nov 21 and continued into Nov 22. The third day included an academic seminar, award ceremony, and cultural programme.

The Model UN conference was organised by Global Gatekeepers.

GSG and Global Gatekeepers observe Global Day as the department's foundation day each year, with a large-scale celebration aligned with the United Nations theme, IUB said in a statement.
