Dhaka, March 20 -- More than 500 people, including at least 200 children, have been killed in Gaza since Israel launched its latest military offensive, according to the Palestinian health ministry.
The renewed attacks, which began on Tuesday after Israel abandoned a cease-fire, has also left more than 900 people wounded.
Israeli airstrikes have intensified across the strip, killing at least 91 Palestinians, including newborns, on Thursday alone.
In Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, an Israeli strike targeted several homes, killing at least 20 people, according to the Quds News Network, a Palestinian news agency.
Further north, in the west of Beit Lahiya, at least seven members of a family died when their home was hit.
