Dhaka, May 15 -- The Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) has advised former army personnel to "maintain patience and discipline" as the Bangladesh Army continues reviewing over 800 appeals seeking reconsideration of disciplinary actions.
In a statement issued on Wednesday night, the military's media wing said a total of 802 such petitions have been received so far, of which 106 have been forwarded with relevant records for final resolution.
The remaining 696 appeals are under phased scrutiny and assessment.
While acknowledging that the process may take time, the army is working with "utmost sincerity and responsibility", the statement noted, urging everyone involved to refrain from any form of "negative activities".
