Dhaka, April 22 -- The International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) has issued a red notice for Benazir Ahmed, the former inspector general of police (IGP), who is currently living abroad while facing a series of serious allegations, including extrajudicial killings, enforced disappearances, murder, and corruption.

The notice was issued on Apr 10, Assistant Inspector General Enamul Haque Sagar of the Police Headquarters' Public Relations and Media Wing, said on Tuesday.

However, Benazir's name and photo have not yet appeared on Interpol's official website.
