Dhaka, Dec. 28 -- Leaders of Inqilab Moncho have announced an "all-out" blockade in divisional cities across Bangladesh, demanding the arrest and trial of those involved in the killing of their leader Sharif Osman bin Hadi.
The announcement came on Saturday night through a post on the platform's verified Facebook page.
The post said the blockade would begin at 11am on Sunday in divisional cities, calling for swift arrests and justice for "Shaheed", or martyred, Osman Hadi.
About an hour later, the platform revised the plan. In a fresh Facebook post, it said the blockade announced for the remaining hours of Saturday night had been suspended.
The post also said no one would be allowed to remain at the Shahbagh protest site overnight.
