Dhaka, Feb. 2 -- India has decided to proceed with all formal requirements for its T20 World Cup match against Pakistan, even after Islamabad announced it would boycott the fixture.
The Indian team will travel to Sri Lanka, hold training sessions, attend the pre-match press conference and be present at the stadium on match day as scheduled, in line with ICC protocol.
Following Pakistan's government-backed decision to boycott the match against India, the cricketing world has been gripped by uncertainty.
The ICC has urged Pakistan to reconsider, pointing to the possible consequences of a no-show.
