Dhaka, June 4 -- The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has reportedly attempted to push 26 people into Bangladesh, including nine children, along two borders in Panchagarh Sadar Upazila.
Commander of Nilphamari-56 BGB battalion Lt Col Sheikh Mohammad Badruddoja said they were detained from the Barabari border and the Khuniapara borders during the wee hours of Tuesday.
The detainees are Farid Hossain, 35, Ashraf Islam, 27, Rani Begum, 20, Arzina, 20, Aturban, 45, Rasna Begum, 30, Abu Taleb, 55, Hasina Begum, 40, Hasen Ali, 29, Hossain Ali, 25, Ariful Ali, 21, Minara Begum, 25, Rina Begum, 23, Jui, 18, Mominul Islam, 35, and Rasheda Begum, 30.
