Dhaka, Dec. 21 -- Police are still unaware of the whereabouts of Faisal Karim, key suspect in the killing of Sharif Osman bin Hadi, though nine days have passed since he was shot in Dhaka.

At a joint media briefing held at the Secretariat on Sunday evening, representatives from police headquarters, the Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DMP), Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) said they are making "maximum efforts" to apprehend Faisal.

The event was organised to brief the media on the second phase of the joint operation Devil Hunt.
