Bangladesh, Sept. 3 -- The Ministry of Home Affairs is set to hold a high-level meeting with field officers to review the country's law and order situation ahead of the 13th general election.
The virtual meeting, scheduled for 2pm on Wednesday, will bring together divisional commissioners, deputy commissioners, police DIGs and superintendents from across the country. Home Secretary Nasimul Gani is expected to attend, though it is not yet clear whether Home Advisor Jahangir Alam Chowdhury will be present.
Dhaka District Police Superintendent Anisuzzaman confirmed the meeting, saying it was expected to begin shortly after 1:30 pm.
