Dhaka, May 3 -- Hifazat-e Islam Bangladesh has started a grand rally with four-point demands including the abolition of the Women's Affairs Reform Commission.
The rally began at Suhrawardy Udyan at 9am on Saturday, presided over by the organisation's Ameer Shah Muhibullah Babunagari.
The assembly will be addressed by top religious leaders and Islamic thinkers.
Earlier in the morning, the leaders and activists of the organisation from parts of the country began to converge at Suhrawardy Udyan. Several thousands of Hifazat supporters have gathered at the park meanwhile.
