Dhaka, Dec. 17 -- Content creator Ashraful Alam, popularly known as Hero Alom, has been granted one month's interim bail in a case filed by his former wife accusing him of "attempted murder and assault".

Alom appeared in the court of Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Awlad Hossain Muhammad Jonaid on Wednesday, where his lawyer sought permanent bail for him.

However, the court granted him interim bail until Jan 21 instead. The judge also ordered the submission of a report on that day, according to Alom's lawyer Shanta Saksina,
