Dhaka, Dec. 14 -- Sharif Osman bin Hadi, an independent election hopeful for the Dhaka-8 constituency and convenor of the Inqilab Moncho platform, is still in critical condition and authorities are trying to organise advanced treatment for him abroad.

Hadi's medical case summary has been sent to different hospitals in Singapore and Thailand. However, sending Hadi abroad for medical treatment entirely depends on his family and the medical board overseeing him.

Abdul Ahad, secretary of the National Health Alliance, an affiliate of the NCP, and a neurosurgeon taking part in Hadi's surgery at Dhaka Medical College and member of his board, shared the information with the media outside Evercare Hospital on Sunday.
