Dhaka, Jan. 22 -- The interim government has withdrawn an order transferring eight Upazila administrators (UNOs) just a day after they issued it ahead of the parliamentary polls.

The Ministry of Public Administration cancelled the earlier decision through a fresh notification on Thursday.

The officers affected by the transfers were:

Israt Jahan - from Pathorghata, Barguna to Charfesson, Bhola

Md Al-Amin - from Jibannagar, Chuadanga to Nagarkanda, Faridpur

Rehena Akter - from Bhandaria, Pirojpur to Dhunot, Bogura

Liton Chandra Day - from Bahubal, Habiganj to Jibannagar

Preetilota Barman - from Dhunot Bahubal

Mehraj Sharbin - from Nagarkanda to Kalmakanda, Netrokona

Masudur Rahman - from Kalmakanda to Bhandaria
