Dhaka, May 31 -- The interim government has reduced fuel prices for the month of June, cutting diesel by Tk 2 per litre and petrol and octane by Tk 3 per litre, while keeping the price of kerosene unchanged.
The Energy and Mineral Resources Division issued a circular announcing the new rates on Saturday, with the changes taking effect from June 1.
According to the revised pricing, diesel will now cost Tk 102 per litre, down from Tk 104; petrol will be Tk 118 per litre, down from Tk 121; octane will cost Tk 122 per litre, down from Tk 125; but kerosene remains unchanged at Tk 114 per litre.
