Dhaka, Jan. 2 -- Zonayed Saki, chief coordinator of the Ganosamhati Andolon, has declared assets worth less than half of those owned by his wife, according to an affidavit filed with his nomination papers for Bangladesh's upcoming 13th national parliamentary election.

Saki entered the race for parliamentary polls by filing his nomination papers for the Brahmanbaria-6 constituency. Election law requires candidates to submit 10 categories of information in the affidavit, which can be publicised.
