Dhaka, Jan. 31 -- The price of all types of fuel has increased by Tk 1 per litre from Feb 1.

The interim government set these new prices for February as part of ongoing fuel price adjustments.

The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources announced the revised rates in a notification on Friday night.

The new prices will take effect from Friday midnight.

The price of diesel and kerosene has risen to Tk 105 per litre from Tk 104.

Octane now costs Tk 126 per litre, while petrol has gone up to TK 122.

Before the adjustment, octane had been priced at TK 125 per litre, and petrol at TK 121 per litre since Jan 1.
