Bangladesh, Aug. 22 -- Four members of a family have been killed after their car was crushed by a cement-laden lorry on the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway in Cumilla.

The accident happened around 12:30pm on Friday near Paduar Bazar in Cumilla Sadar South Upazila. Police said the car was travelling on the Dhaka-bound lane when the lorry overturned while trying to avoid a collision with a passenger bus going the wrong way.

The lorry also struck a CNG-run autorickshaw, leaving at least two of its passengers injured.

Highway Police confirmed that all four people killed were in the car, including the driver, and that they were from the same family.

Their identities have not yet been confirmed, though they are believed to be from Cumilla's Laksam...
