Dhaka, Nov. 18 -- A group of BNP activists have allegedly attacked and vandalised the home of former president Md Abdul Hamid during a celebratory procession in Kishoreganj's Mithamoin Upazila.

The doors, windows and furniture of the house were vandalised in the attack, which occurred in Kamalpur village around 11pm on Monday. However, no casualties were reported as no one was home at the time.

Mithamoin Police Station Sub-Inspector Al Momen confirmed the information and said that upon receiving a report of the incident, police immediately went to the spot and brought the situation under control.
