Dhaka, June 23 -- Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) have arrested former member of parliament Sabina Akter Tuhin, who was elected for the seat reserved for women in the 10th national election in 2014.
DB Joint Commissioner Rabiul Hossain Bhuiyan said she was arrested from her home in Dhaka's Nawabganj early on Monday.
However, he did not say immediately specify which case the former MP was arrested in connection with.
Sabina was sworn in as the parliamentarian for the seat 35 reserved for women in March 2014 for the first time.
