Dhaka, April 29 -- The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has accused former Liberation War affairs minister AKM Mozammel Haque of "possessing wealth beyond known sources of income".
On Tuesday, ACC Director General Akhtar Hossain said Assistant Director Md Abul Kalam Azad filed the case with the anti-graft agency's Integrated District Office, Dhaka-1.
The case alleges that Mozammel acquired movable and immovable assets worth Tk 103.4 million, which is not consistent with his declared source of income.
The ACC also reported "dubious" transactions worth Tk 83.2 million from three bank accounts to his name.
