Dhaka, Jan. 28 -- A fire has broken out at a kitchen market in Dhaka's Uttara Sector 11.

The Fire Service and Civil Defence control room received the report of the blaze around 5:30pm on Wednesday.

Duty officer Rakib Hasan said five units were deployed to douse the fire.

He could not immediately confirm the cause of the fire or whether there were any casualties.
