Dhaka, Dec. 1 -- A fire has broken out in a residential building in Dhaka's Mohammadpur.

Rashed Bin Khaled, duty officer at the Fire Service Control Room, said that the fire was reported at 3:40pm on Monday.

He said, "A fire broke out on the sixth floor of a six-story residential building. After the incident was reported, two units of the Fire Service worked together and brought the fire under control at 4:25pm."

However, there were no casualties in the fire.

The Fire Service could not initially provide the cause of the fire or the extent of the damage.
