Dhaka, Feb. 21 -- The fire that broke out at a sawmill near Taltola Bazar in Dhaka's Khilgaon has been brought under control after approximately two hours, the Fire Service has reported.

Fire Service and Civil Defense Department spokesperson Md Shahjahan Sikder said, "The fire was brought under control at 9:35pm with the efforts of nine units of the fire service."

Hussain Muhammad Farabi, assistant commissioner-in-charge of DMP's Khilgaon zone, said: "We have received reports of several injuries caused by the fire's heat and cylinder explosion."

Earlier, Fire Service Control Room Duty Officer Rashed Bin Khalid said that they received reports of the fire at around 7:30pm on Friday.
