Dhaka, Dec. 1 -- The Fire Service has brought a fire under control in just over an hour at a three-storey residential building in Rahmatganj Dalpatti, Chawkbazar.

Fire Service Media Officer Anwarul Islam said they received the alert at 4:42pm on Monday after flames broke out on the third floor.

Two units from Lalbagh Fire Station initially responded, followed by five more units.

By 6:00pm, the blaze was fully contained. No casualties were reported.

The Fire Service has yet to determine the cause or assess the damage.
