Dhaka, Dec. 18 -- A Grameen Bank office in Feni Sadar Upazila has been set on fire by unidentified intruders, who reportedly left three motorcycles charred.
Police and bank officials allege that the arsonists used petrol to set the place ablaze. Furniture on the building's balcony was burnt in the fire on Thursday.
Inspector (Investigation) Sajal Kanti Das of Feni Model Police Station said the incident occurred at the Shershdi Bazar branch of the bank.
Ashok Kumar Debnath, branch manager, said the perpetrators climbed over the boundary wall and set fire from outside the main gate.
