Dhaka, Jan. 29 -- A Feni court has sentenced three people to death for the 2024 kidnapping and murder of Class 4 student Ahnaf Al Maeen Nashit.

Judge ANM Morshed Khan of the district's Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal delivered the verdict in the case around noon on Thursday, according to the court's Public Prosecutor Shahabuddin.

Nashit, 10, was kidnapped for a ransom and killed on Dec 8, 2024. He was the son of Main Uddin Shohag from Fulgazi Upazila and a student in Class 4 at Feni Grammar School.
