Dhaka, Jan. 5 -- BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has called for national unity, claiming that plots are afoot to drag Bangladesh backward once again.
Speaking at a prayer session on Monday, he noted that the nation faces numerous conspiracies and silent schemes that must be overcome.
Addressing economic leaders at InterContinental Dhaka, he urged everyone to join hands to rebuild the country, drawing inspiration from the independence struggle of 1971, the democratic movement of 1990, and the sacrifices made by the youth in 2024.
