Dhaka, Dec. 15 -- A fake news website that uses a logo nearly identical to that of bdnews24.com is being used to spread a fake interview with bdnews24.com's Editor-in-Chief Toufique Imrose Khalidi.

It also features a fake AI-generated video featuring the bdnews24.com logo that says businessman Moosa bin Shamsher is launching an alleged investment platform.

The fake news item says that Shamsher is launching a cryptocurrency investment project called Quantum AI alongside the Bangladesh government, with the headline: "SECRET SUCCESS: Over 200,000 Bangladeshi citizens have achieved financial independence with a new investment platform, earning up to ৳860K per month!"
