Dhaka, Feb. 24 -- Educational institutions across Bangladesh will close for over a month in celebration of the holy month of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr.
Government and private secondary and lower secondary schools will close after classes on Thursday, Feb 27, while primary schools will shut down after classes on Tuesday, Feb 25.
Classes are scheduled to resume on Apr 7 for primary schools and Apr 9 for secondary and lower secondary schools.
Madrasa classes ended on Monday, with institutions reopening on Apr 8.
Meanwhile, technical education institutions will close after Thursday's classes and reopen on Apr 6.
The same applies to government and private colleges, which will resume classes on Apr 6.
