Dhaka, April 23 -- The expulsion order of 37 students of the Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) has been withdrawn.

The university administration also decided to reopen all halls of residence.

SK Shariful Alam, pro-vice-chancellor of KUET, confirmed the decisions taken at a syndicate meeting on Wednesday evening.

Meanwhile, in a press release signed by Registrar Engineer Anisur Rahman Bhuiyan after the syndicate meeting, the university authorities said the halls were scheduled to be opened on May 2. But the syndicate decided to open them on Wednesday.
